This weekend, I climbed Mount Lindsey in the lower Sangre de Cristos of Colorado. Lindsey is the 14,042 foot mountain peeking out at the top left of this photo. When we arrived late Saturday night, Lindsey had recently been covered with a fresh dusting of snow, making our climb just a little bit more interesting. In this photo, my buddy Jeff is on his way up to the saddle to begin our climb. I saw the sun beginning to peek over the mountains just enough to cover this valley with a nice bit of morning light, and had barely enough time to capture Jeff on the trail in between two small evergreen trees. The climb was tough, but great, with beautiful views across southern Colorado. Overall, we were on the mountain for 6 hours from base to summit.
